Position Comparison Guide
A study to be completed by a candidate to assist him or her in assessing the importance of various elements that directly or indirectly are influenced by their employment.

Method of Evaluation: In the column on the left, insert the value of the factor in order of personal importance to you starting with 21 points for most important factor, 20 points for next most important factor, etc. No number may be used twice.

Now that you have established the relative importance of the listed factors, you may wish to determine how each factor could be projected into your proposed job versus the value you would give the same factor in you present job. In each of the columns to the right, divide the numerical value you assigned in the extreme left column between your present and proposed jobs. For example, if "Be an Authority in my Field" was assigned 14 points, you may wish to write 4 points under present job and 10 points under proposed jobs.
